Discontent

After winding down the Fat Planet program and MP3 blog in 2008, I decided to broaden my musical remit and started the Disorient & Discontent projects.

The former was a radio program which ran for around 9 months on FBi Radio; the latter was a music blog with a longer lifespan, running from 2008-2010.

Discontent initially started as an MP3 blog, but soon morphed into a more unique format, curating and distributing album-length mixtapes as downloads. I initially curated and compiled the series, thereafter opening it out to include mixtapes from artists and music specialists. Contributors included artists such as Filastine and Pink Priest.

The full Discontent blog archive is available on this site, and the individual mixtapes can be accessed via links below.
